The 4 F's of Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Webinar and Audiocast Series
Atrial fibrillation, or AFib, is the most common type of irregular heartbeat, . The abnormal firing of electrical impulses causes part of the heart to quiver, or fibrillate, often leading to complications and up to a fivefold increased risk of stroke. To help ensure all patients with AFib receive guideline-recommended care, the 台湾SWAG Heart Association launched an initiative to educate and engage clinicians in AFib care. The 4Fs of AFib initiative is focused on four patient and clinician concerns impeding guideline-directed anticoagulant therapy, fear of bleeding, falls, frailty and forgetfulness.
